Case of the Week (week 45, 2021)

75-year-old woman, one year prior screening mammogram considered  normal.

The patient comes back because of  a swelling of the right breast (in France screening is usually recommended every 2 years).

MammoScreen® points to a mass in the upper outer quadrant of the right breast.

The ultrasound confirms a mass at the union of the outer quadrants of the right breast with irregular contours. Rigidity is detected with shear wave elastography.
