Case of the Week (week 12, 2024)

Routine screening on patient.

MammoScreen identifies multiple lesions as a yellow score of 5 (undetermined).

Calcifications found in the left CC are benign.

However, the mass of score 5 of the right breast detected on both CC and MLO corresponds to a small infiltrating cancer. Thanks to tomosynthesis, MammoScreen was able to identify this lesion, in particular thanks to slice number 16 of the CC.

Thanks to the yellow score, MammoScreen can draw attention to subtle lesions that can in some cases be malignant.
