Case of the Week (week 43, 2023)

Routine screening for the patient.

During the screening, two masses were found, one on the right breast (2cm DTN) and the other on the left breast (A1 cm DTN), categorized as suspicious. 

The patient was called back for an ultrasound. The following biopsy performed showed lobular cancer infiltrating the left breast (two masses). 

MammoScreen indicates one of the suspicious masses on the left breast in score 8 on tomosynthesis.
