Case of the week (week 12, 2023)

Cancer with contralateral lesion

Patient is a 74-year-old woman. A mammogram is performed to explore a supero external nodule of the right breast.

Mammoscreen® points to an opacity of the supero-external quadrant of the right breast,  as well as an external abnormality of the left breast.

Echography confirms hypoechogenic lobulate formation at the union of the external quadrants of the right breast and hypoechogenic nodule formation at the union of the lower quadrants of the left breast, presenting stiffness at the elastographic study.

Microbiopsy confirms RH+, Her2+ low infiltrating ductal carcinomas.
