Case of the week (week 2, 2023)

77-year-old woman with a history of breast cancer in the left breast, treated with left tumorectomy and radiotherapy in 1994.

Supero-extern mass in the right breast marked with a MammoScreen Score® of 5.

No other noticeable intra-mammary lesions on the right or left breast.

This mammographic mass corresponds in ultrasound to a 7 mm attenuating nodule of type ACR 5 whose biopsy confirms a grade 1 infiltrating ductal carcinoma.

MammoScreen® helped in the early detection of a lesion in a heterogeneous mammary gland in a previously treated patient for contralateral cancer.
